The Geneva School of Boerne tennis team played Antonian in a recent match and fell to the Apaches, 18-6. The Eagles also played against the Boerne High JV to end the month of August. Check the Star for results of that match.
Geneva did well in boys singles against Antonian and picked up four wins there, while they added a win in boys doubles and had another in girls singles.
For the Eagles, Ray Reynolds and Jared Bass won their match in boys doubles, 6-4.
Bass and Reynolds also earned wins in boys singles. Reynolds won his match, 8-3, Bass picked up an 8-6 victory, while Grant Dillinger was victorious, 8-1, and Grant Hakspiel triumphed, 8-5.
Geneva’s only win on the girls side came from Naomi Bowser, who won her match, 8-5.
