The Geneva School of Boerne cross country teams were in their second meet of the year when they participated in Bandera at the Steve Goleman 5th Annual Invitational last weekend.
Geneva is scheduled to run again at the Schreiner Hill Country Invitational in Kerrville on Sept. 18.
In the two-mile girls race, Peyton Eiland had the team’s best finish after she was 18th in a time of 13:13, Maggie Lutz ran a 14:13 and Catalina Lozada posted a 15:26 as the Geneva team didn’t have enough for a full team.
In the boys 5K race, Liam McClain posted a 19:28 for 38th, Evan Taylor ran a 19:47, Quinn Malkowski finished in 20:24, Ryder Buckelew came in at 20:27, Sam Miller recorded a 21:58, Billy Gerth finished in 23:22 and Crockett Srp turned in a 29:47 for the Eagles that finished ninth with 222 points.
