Comfort beats Leakey, has match with Stockdale cancelled

Comfort High played at Leakey in a volleyball match last Friday and won in three sets, 25-12, 25-16, 25-13.

The Deer improved to 15-14 overall and were off this week. They were originally scheduled to host Stockdale on Tuesday, but a scheduling issue had Stockdale double booked and in two places at one time, so they went to the other place, maybe because they feared the Deer. Comfort has a bye Friday and will visit Harper on Tuesday before hosting Geneva School of Boerne on Friday, Sept. 18. After that, they’ll open district action on Sept. 22, at Blanco.
