The Geneva School of Boerne split its last two volleyball matches and fell to Blanco in a tough five-set match last Friday and then bounced back to sweep Austin Veritas on Tuesday.
Geneva was back in the Austin area Thursday for a match with Hill Country Christian. After that, the Eagles start district play by hosting Castle Hills on Tuesday before driving to Corpus Christi on Thursday to face John Paul II.
The Eagles are 14-13 this year and will also play at Comfort on Friday, Sept. 18, in a non-district contest.
Against Blanco, the Lady Panthers won in a tough match. The Eagles were up 2-1 but dropped the last two games to fall in five sets, 16-25, 25-22,
19-25, 26-24, 15-9.
Geneva was on the road Tuesday and defeated Austin Vertias in straight sets, 25-12,
25-18, 25-16.
