Boerne Champion continued district water polo play last Saturday and both Charger squads took on Clark and Marshall.
The Chargers mix it up with Health Careers and Brandeis this Saturday at the Northside Natatorium.
In boys action, Champion defeated Clark 23-8 and then won over Marshall, 2-0. The Chargers are 14-3 overall and remain perfect in district at 4-0.
Against Marshall, Youssif Moustaffa and Landon Muenchow scored their only goals, while Julius Hoxhaj had an assist as the Chargers mostly played keep away against the Rams.
Against Clark, Champion scored 8, 6, 5 and 4 goals in each of the quarters, while Clark scored 5 of their goals in the final period.

Julius Hoxhaj led the team with six goals, Grant Perkins added three goals, while Baron Stephens, Jorge Almaugher and Henry Nurnberger all scored two goals. Perkins also picked up four assists.
In girls action, the Lady Chargers split their two matches and beat Marshall, 12-1, and lost to Clark, 14-1. They are 9-8 overall and 3-1 in district.
Marlowe Cooper had the team’s only goal in their match with Clark.
In Champion’s 12-1 win over the Rams, the Chargers posted four goals in each of the first two quarters and closed it out with two goals apiece in the final two stanzas.
Aubree Castro led the team with three goals, Abby Smith added two goals, while seven different players chipped in with one goal each. Six of the players also picked up one assist each and Rose Stephens came up with four steals.
