The Lady Greyhound volleyball team kicked off 26-5A action Tuesday at home by hosting Harlandale.
Boerne High swept the Lady Indians, 25-7, 25-14, 25-11, and starts district at 1-0. Boerne is 20-4 overall and enters the week ranked No. 16 in the latest Texas Girls Coaches Association poll.
BHS was off Friday and continues league action Tuesday, Sept. 15, by hosting South San.
Prior to opening district play, Boerne played Churchill to close out non-district last Friday and was defeated by the Lady Chargers, 30-28, 25-19, 25-19.
Against Churchill, Bella Pettet finished with 11 kills, Riley Caldwell recorded 7 kills and Ava Seamans added 6 kills. Kiley Coffland dropped in 3 aces and Cameron Keller had 2 aces. Brook Summers came up with a block, Coffland tallied 14 digs and Keller totaled 9 digs and 20 assists, while Molly McCormick had 8 assists.
