Lady Hounds returned to volleyball court Tuesday

The Boerne High volleyball team was off last Friday and returned to the court Tuesday at home against South San in a district match.

Boerne was 20-4 overall and 1-0 in district after beating Harlandale at home last week. The Lady Hounds are on the road Friday at McCollum.

BHS will have two tough matches next week against Alamo Heights and Boerne Champion, but they will have home court advantage for both those matches.

Against Harlandale, Mallory Miles led the team with 9 kills, Ava Seamans added 8 kills and Bella Pettet finished with 6 kills.

Miles dropped in 5 aces and Riley Caldwell finished with 4 aces for the BHS team that recorded 12 aces. Brook Summers had 3 blocks, Miles came up with 13 digs, Lauren Magnus added 9 digs, while Kiley Coffland and Pettet both registered 6 digs and Magnus tallied 25 assists.
