Geneva School of Boerne was finally home for a volleyball match after being in Corpus Christi, New Braunfels and Comfort for its last three matches.
The Eagles were home on Thursday night to host Corpus Christi Incarnate Word in a district match and beat the Angels in straight sets.
Geneva won the contest, 25-15, 25-20, 25-8. The Eagles improved to 20-14 overall and 3-1 in district. They hosted rival Holy Cross on Tuesday to close out the first round of district and then begin second-round action on Thursday, Oct. 1 against Castle Hills in Boerne.
Geneva and Castle Hills met in the first round and Geneva was supposed to host, but they switched and played at Castle Hills and now Geneva will host in the second round on Thursday.
