Dylan Pegg of Boerne was named to the Dean’s List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the spring 2022 semester. Pegg is in the game design and development program. Full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean’s List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of “Incomplete,” “D” or “F” and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Amarissa Olivia Geis of Boerne earned a spot on the President’s Honor Roll for the spring semester at the University of Wyoming. The President’s Honor Roll consists of regularly enrolled undergraduates who earned a 4.0 (“A”) grade-point average for the semester. To be eligible, students must have been enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours taken for letter grades.

An Abilene Christian University student from Boerne is among 43 students nationwide named as 2022 Sumners Scholars by the Sumners Foundation. Each student receives a $30,000 scholarship. Three ACU students were selected this year, including Emma Jaax, an accounting & finance major from Boerne. Scholarship selections are based on academic excellence, civic engagement and a capacity for leadership. The funds apply toward the students’ junior and senior years.

Ashley Brin, of Boerne earned Dean’s List honors at The University of Tampa for the spring 2022 semester. Brin was a sophomore majoring in design. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean’s list.
