Earlier this month, Boerne American Legion Post 313 members traveled to Uvalde to join the Uvalde post in handing out backpacks, shoes and school supplies to local students. More than 800 backpacks stuffed with school supplies were distributed. “This was a moving experience for the members,” Post 313 Past Commander Don Gray said.
