Boerne Champion’s Elizabeth Leachman turned in a time of 9:57 at the Nike Nationals, the third fastest two-mile time from a Texas high school girl runner this year. Leachman wrapped up her freshman year last spring with the Chargers as a state champion after she won the 5A 3200 race in Austin.
