More than 40 golfers braved wet and blustery weather conditions to play in the Tapatio Springs Men’s Golf Association/Ladies Golf Association Veteran’s Benefit 4 Person Scramble Tournament on Friday, Nov. 10.
Both members of the Tapatio Springs MGA/ LGA and non-members played in the tourney and raised more than $6,000 to be given to a veterans organization or an organizations that benefits veterans.
The team of Frank Koehler, Joe Munsch, Kim James and Jim Lovisco took first-place honors in the charity event.
Tournament director Frank Cohen said, “We always appreciate our golfers who show support for our veterans, especially on a day to honor all veterans. Tapatio Springs members are proud to support our veterans.”
