Lots in the news lately about hydrogen, geothermal and fourth-generation nuclear power plants. These three energy options can help us get to net zero carbon dioxide emissions by 2050.

Here’s my take on them. Hydrogen is a great source of energy once you have it. As often mentioned, it is the most abundant element in the universe. Unfortunately, it loves to be combined with other atoms and is hard to separate.
