Tapatio Springs golfer Brady Goodson hit a rare hole-in-one on Sept. 13, at the Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort course. Goodson, a 15-year-old sophomore, has only been playing golf regularly since March of 2024 and is a natural at the sport. It was on the par-3, 11th hole at Tapatio Springs and he used an 8 iron to hit onto the 138-yard elevated green. Goodson has joined the Southern Texas PGA Junior golf program and recently played in his first tournament at Willow Springs in San Antonio. Goodson played football in middle school, but caught the golf bug and has excelled at the sport ever since.
