Boerne High had a good start to the second round of district volleyball with a three-game sweep over Wagner Tuesday on the road.
The Lady Greyhounds won, 25-9, 25-20, 25-13, and completed the season sweep over the Lady Thunderbirds.
BHS is 19-10 overall and 4-5 in district. Boerne hosted Kerrville Tivy Friday and then visits Veterans Memorial Tuesday.
Paige Stegall had a teamhigh 13 kills, Ava Rocchio was also in double-digit kills with 10, Aubree Stegall finished with 7 kills and Holly Reeder added 5 kills.
The Lady Hounds tallied 8 aces and Calynn Ramos had half of them with 4 and Lauren Magnus dropped in 2 aces.
Paige Stegall came up with 3 blocks and Aubree Stegall added 2 blocks, Haley Wheeler led the team in digs with 6, Magnus added 5 digs and Ramos finished with 4 digs and 17 assists, while Magnus recorded 23 assists.
