Deer march past Saints for non-district win

COMFORT – The Comfort volleyball team took a break from district play last Friday and hosted the San Antonio Saints homeschool team.

The Saints played the Deer tough, but Comfort recorded a three-game sweep, 25-15, 26-24, 25-22.

Comfort is 17-12 overall and resumed district play Tuesday by hosting Florence to close out the first round of league play.

The Deer are 3-1 in district and have defeated Ingram, Brady and Blanco, with their only loss coming to Llano in five sets.
