Lady Greyhounds tripped up by Tivy

Boerne High hosted Kerrville Tivy last Friday for a district volleyball match and was swept by the Lady Antlers in three close games.

Kerrville went on to post a 25-22, 25-21, 26-24 victory and drops BHS to 19-11 overall and 4-6 in district.

The Lady Greyhounds visited Veterans Memorial Tuesday and host Smithson Valley Friday.

Kaylie Bourn led the team in kills with 7, Ava Rocchio and Bella Pettet both tallied 6 kills, Aubree Stegall finished with 5 kills, while Holly Reeder and Paige Stegall added 4 kills apiece.

Haley Wheeler, Reeder and Bourn recorded one ace each, Bourn came up with 4 blocks and Paige Stegall had 2 blocks.

Wheeler finished with a teamhigh 16 digs, Lauren Magnus added 13 digs and Kinsley Sawyer totaled 10 digs. Magnus also chipped in with 19 assists.
