The Geneva School of Boerne boys basketball team rolled past another opponent Tuesday night at home after they defeated Great Hearts Northern Oaks, 74-60.
With Tuesday’s victory, Geneva has won its fifth straight at home dating back to last year and improves to 9-0 this year.
Geneva is in the Cornerstone tournament this weekend and opened with Rocksprings Friday.
The Eagles are playing well and have scored at least 55 points during their 9-0 start and Eagles coach Julius McNeal said that’s been the key to their success.
“ I’m a big defensive- minded coach and I believe that defense travels, but when you have guys playing together and passing up OK shots to get good shots, it makes the makes the offense look really good,” he said.
Colton Lutz and Jake Roberson both tallied 25 points in Tuesday’s game and Wyatt Bruss scored 22.
