BOERNE — There’s been a change in the start-time for Sunday’s Boerne Concert Band performance. Organizers of the Weihnachts Parade are keeping their options open for pushing the annual parade to Sunday if predicted heavy rain arrives Saturday and washes things out. As such, the Boerne Concert Band performance will now start at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Boerne Middle School North auditorium, 240 Johns Road. The Boerne Ukuladies will kick off the 1:30 p.m. program with Christmas favorites as the audience arrives, followed by the Boerne Jazz Band with Christmas jazz selections sure to entertain. The Concert band, under the direction of Larry Schmidt, will then perform its “Traditions of Christmas” classics, traditional and contemporary.
