The Boerne Star welcomes “Letters to the Editor” on any public issue. Letters may be mailed, emailed or hand-delivered, but must contain the writer’s name, address and telephone number. Addresses are used for verification purposes only and will never be published. Chain letters are not accepted and will not be published. Letters are limited to a length of 300 words. We reserve the right to edit all letters for style and content. Submissions will be accepted once per calendar month from any individual. Election/campaign letters: The Boerne Star will consider publishing letters that endorse a candidate but will NOT publish letters that attack or criticize a candidate’s opponent. The Star will not publish letters from individuals who are candidates for any local, state or national office.
