St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church will host a Kendall County Historical Commission presentation on the Camino Real de San Saba (Camino Viejo) in Kendall County 10 a.m. Nov. 4 at the Upon this Rock Campus Chapel.

The event will culminate in the unveiling of a new Texas Historical Commission marker in the trail’s honor. Kendall County is blessed with two authenticated trails, and the honoree of this new THC Marker is a documented pathway with roots to an early San Saba River mission and presidio that date from the Spanish colonial era.

This new THC marker is sponsored by the local catholic church, and the presentation and unveiling are jointly hosted by the Kendall County Historical Commission. Free and open to the public, all are invited to gather 10 a.m. sharp at Upon this Rock Campus at 416 W. Highland on Friday, Nov. 4.
