Louise Davis was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She left this world peacefully on May 6, 2023, at the age of 84, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born to Fred Gremmel and Georgia Lue Gremmel on Oct. 19, 1938, in Houston, TX. After graduating from Boerne High School with the class of 1956, Louise attended The University of Texas in Austin, Texas, graduating with a Business Administration degree in 1960. She married her high school sweetheart, Allen Davis of Boerne Texas, married for 63 years, and together they had two sons Scott and Craig.
Louise used her degree working briefly for the Dallas County Auditor’s Office and later keeping the books and helping run the family’s real estate businesses. She served in many community activities, but her favorites were serving as Treasurer for the Boerne Historical Society for nearly 20 years and organizing the class reunions for the Boerne High School Classes of the 1950s. Louise loved computers but is probably best known for bragging about her children and grandson Hunter, who she was very proud of.
She is survived by her husband Allen, her sons Scott and Craig, her daughter in-law Cheryl, and her grandson Hunter.
A graveside funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, May 16, 2023, 10 a.m. at Boerne cemetery.
