Recordkeeping: No April Fools lifeskill pranks here

In the Julian Calendar, as in the Hindu calendar, the new year began with the spring equinox around April 1. People who were slow to get the news or failed to recognize that the start of the new year had moved to January 1 and continued to celebrate it during the last week of March through April 1 became the butt of jokes and hoaxes and were called ‘April fools.’” 04/01/2022 12:00 AM

Sooner or later, we have to say goodbye
I hate writing farewell columns. I never really know what to say in them, and whatever I write never is good enough to convey the strong, personal feelings I have for the community I’m leaving. 04/01/2022 12:00 AM
