Sue Ann Danmier
Sue Ann Felton Danmier of Boerne passed away on July 16, 2023, at the age of 88. Sue was born Dec. 30, 1934 in Laredo, Texas, and she grew up in Hebbronville, Texas. She was actively involved in her church as well as the community.

A Boerne pillar faded away on July 31, 2023, when Dr. Jimmy E. McCoy departed for Heaven after a valiant struggle with Alzheimer’s. The disease stripped much away but, in the end, he remained a distinguished and gentle soul with a heart for helping others.

Van Raub Elementary School employees erupt in cheers when the school is mentioned during the Boerne ISD’s annual Convocation, a pre-start of school gathering of all employees. Champion High School theater director Israel Aviles joined Boerne ISD Athletic Director Stan Leech, Director of Communications Bryan Benway in giving the event a sporty, play-by-play feel, energizing its school staffs before the Aug. 10 return of students. State housing tax credits to create affordable rent
AUSTIN – Gov. Greg Abbott today announced that the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) has awarded $87.7 million in housing tax credits to help finance the development or rehabilitation of 54 rental properties offering reduced rents and increased housing options for Texans throughout the state.
