Boerne High School sophomore Justin Koth won the Class 4A State Tennis Championship in boys singles on Wednesday. Koth defeated Longview High School’s Zach Couch in straight sets to win the title match. Three girls on the BHS tennis team also medaled at the state meet while one Champion duo did the same.

The Patrick Heath Public Library played host to its annual bike-trike race at Main Plaza on Wednesday morning as dozens of children showed up with their favorite mode of transportation. What started as a simple conversation about parking led to a commissioners court coup Monday morning as a couple of commissioners and the county judge decided a new administrative building would be a better addition to the county jail property rather than the year-long plan for a justice center.
