BOERNE — Boerne Independent School District named Dayna Comley, assistant principal at Voss Middle School, as the new principal of Fair Oaks Ranch Elementary. Superintendent Dr. Kristin Craft introduced Comley during the school board’s June 16 meeting.
Comley is entering her 20th year in education. She joined Boerne ISD in 2016 as a teacher at Boerne Middle School North, moving on to become assistant principal at Curington Elementary School, 2021-2023, and most recently serving as assistant principal of Voss Middle School, from 2023 through this year.
“Fair Oaks Ranch Elementary School has a proud legacy to uphold, and Mrs. Comley is the right leader to guide the campus into the future,” Craft said. “We are excited about how her strengths will impact the students, staff and community.”
Comley obtained her bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from Texas A&M University and earned her master’s degree in educational leadership and policy studies from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Comley starts at Fair Oaks Ranch Elementary on July 21.
