County Judge Stolarczyk announces re-election run

BOERNE — Kendall County Judge Shane Stolarczyk has officially announced his candidacy for re-election in the upcoming March 2026 Primary. Following a successful first term, Judge Stolarczyk is seeking to continue advancing the conservative values and strategic leadership that have defined his tenure.

Since taking office, Judge Stolarczyk has prioritized fiscal responsibility, government transparency, and long-term planning for Kendall County. Drawing on his experience as an attorney, military officer, and small business owner, he has worked in close partnership with the Commissioners Court to lower the county tax rate in two of the last three years—all while keeping pace with the county’s rapid growth and service demands.

A champion for efficient, effective local government, Judge Stolarczyk has led efforts to reduce wasteful spending, strengthen budget accountability, and prioritize investment in essential services. His administration has emphasized a balanced budget—achieved without depleting reserves—while maintaining accountability and making thoughtful investments in essential county services. His leadership has delivered results while protecting taxpayers and safeguarding Kendall County’s financial health for the future.

Judge Stolarczyk has also taken a proactive approach to public safety and infrastructure planning. Due to the extreme drought, he worked hand-in-hand with local residents to help establish the Hill Country Fire Coalition —aimed at improving emergency response, preparedness, and wildfire resilience. In addition, he partnered with the County Auditor and other stakeholders to implement a comprehensive salary structure designed to attract and retain highly qualified employees and elected officials for the next three decades.

Known for his humility, accessibility, and strong presence in the community, Judge Stolarczyk has remained engaged with constituents throughout his term—not just during election cycles. He has consistently represented the interests of all Kendall County residents, avoided special interest influence and made decisions grounded in fairness and long-term benefit to the community.

During the July 4th floods, Judge Stolarczyk demonstrated his commitment to responsive leadership. He worked closely with the Kendall County Emergency Manager, first responders, and state and federal partners to ensure that rural communities—including Comfort, Waring, and Sisterdale—received timely resources and representation. He remained on the ground throughout the crisis, providing steady, in-person leadership in a time of need.

Looking ahead, Judge Stolarczyk is committed to building on this momentum during a second term. He plans to prioritize the well-being of Kendall County residents by further strengthening Emergency Operations and preparedness and continuing to support critical infrastructure development. Among his key priorities are continuing his effort with government transparency and fiscal responsibility, working with community partners to restructure the Herff River Road intersection, construct a new parking garage behind the County Courthouse, and complete long-overdue renovations to the Courthouse itself.

“I am incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished together over the last four years,” said Stolarczyk. “But there is still more work to do to ensure Kendall County remains strong, secure, and sustainable for future generations. I look forward to earning the continued trust of our citizens in the upcoming election.”

“You, the taxpayer, get up every day and go to work. You deserve a County Judge who understands the value of your hard-earned dollar. I believe I am that judge, and I humbly ask for your vote.”
