More than 33 percent of registered Kendall County voters cast votes in early voting and on Election Day Tuesday, returning all county incumbents to their posts.
County Judge Shane Stolarczyk won a second term Tuesday, turning back an Election Day surge by challenger Ricky Gleason. Stolarczyk's 4,292 votes (44.16%) topped Gleason's 3,979 (40.94%). Taylor (1,088, 38.24%) and Richard Elkins (392, 13.95%). Carpenter outdistanced challenger Brett D'Spain, 1,542-841, or 64.7-35.29%.
Others being re-elected include Justice of the Peace Precinct 2's Dave Neighbors and Precinct 3's Debby Hudson, and County Treasurer Sheryl D'Spain.
