BOERNE — The Boerne Independent School District has selected Adrian Gutierrez as its new Director of Career and Technical Education (CTE). He officially joined the district on July 6.
Gutierrez was selected following a competitive search process that attracted 19 applicants. He most recently served as Director of Career and Technical Education for Del Valle ISD and brings more than 20 years of experience in education, including roles in the classroom, campus administration, regional service center support and district leadership.
“Career and Technical Education plays a vital role in preparing students for the future, and we are excited to welcome Adrian to Boerne ISD,” said Superintendent Kristin Craft. “His experience, collaborative leadership style and commitment to student success make him an excellent fit to lead our CTE programs as we continue expanding opportunities for students.”
As Director of CTE, Gutierrez will oversee programs that prepare students for college, careers, military service and industry certifications while strengthening partnerships with local businesses and higher education institutions.
“I’m honored to join Boerne ISD and look forward to working alongside students, educators, families and community partners to continue expanding pathways that prepare students for successful futures,” Gutierrez said.
