Lone Star Cup standings

Comfort tallied 16 points in the Lone Star Cup standings and tied for 101st with 13 other schools at 16 points during the 2025-26 school year.

Comfort earned four points in volleyball, two points in football, four points in boys basketball and six points in baseball for its 16.

Every academic year, UIL schools earn points based on their performance in athletics and other extra-curricular activities. In sports, a district title and a playoff berth are worth two points each and each postseason victory is worth an additional two points, while a state title picks up more points for each school.

Points are earned in Team Tennis, Cross Country, Water Polo, Marching Band, Military Marching Band, Volleyball, Robotics BEST, Football, Congress, Spirit, Swimming & Diving, Wrestling, Mariachi, Film, Basketball, Robotics FIRST, Soccer, Academics, One-Act Play, Theatrical Design, Track & Field, Golf, Tennis, Softball and Baseball.

At the end of the school year, the points are counted and the UIL announces winners in each of the six classifications from 1A – 6A.

Wall won the 3A Lone Star Cup with 105 points and scored in 13 different categories, while Corpus Christi London and Holliday were tied for second with 88 points. London tallied points in 11 different events and Holliday picked up points in 14 categories.
