Community making ‘rag rug’ Oct. 24

The Kuhlmann King Historic House Museum Sept. 12 hosted the first of three programs to make a community rag rug. Participants brought rags and scraps of fabric that were braided and coiled into a rug. All ages came together, sharing talents and enthusiasm. Next rag rug creation will be Oct. 24, 12:30-2 p.m. at the Kuhlman King House, 402 Blanco Road, behind the Crestmont Christian Preparatory School. The third session will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, at the Patrick Heath Library, 451 N. Main St. in Boerne.
