Christy Zeier stands next to the 1955 MG she and her husband own and showed in the All-British Car Day show Oct. 24 on Boerne’s Main Plaza. Originally from San Antonio but now residing in Leander, Texas, Zeier — whose outfit resembles the style of the 1950s — said the car, “Pearl,” was one of 29 made in 1955 with the same interior and trim she owns. A photo of the original owner was on display. Zeier and her husband, Danny, purchased the car in 2000.
