The Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce recently recognized the Cibolo Creek Quilters Guild with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Cibolo Creek Quilters Guild, including President Karen Waselman, cutting the ribbon above, is a community of quilters who gather for friendship, sewing and donating their time and talent while enjoying the fellowship of other sewing enthusiasts. It is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that celebrates traditional, modern and artistic quilting. Members promote and advance the art of quilting by exchanging ideas on all aspects of quilting to include teaching and supporting the community with charitable quilts, service projects and events. The guild featured its 2023 raffle quilt at its ribbon cutting. Those interested in purchasing a raffle ticket or to learn more about the guild may email [email protected] or call 830-431-3198.
