Boerne High hosted Fredericksburg in boys basketball Tuesday night and the rivalry that has historically produced close games over the years turned into a blowout for the Greyhounds.
BHS defeated a Battlin’ Billies team that is struggling this year. Boerne won 65-23 and improves to 2-0 in district and 19-6 overall. The Hounds are on the road Friday to play Wimberley.
Fredericksburg scored first in Tuesday’s game but four points by Devin Styles put the Hounds ahead 4-2 and Boerne never trailed after that.
