The Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Texas Hill Country into the Boerne business community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Big Brothers Big Sisters has been empowering potential for more than a century. The nonprofit offers mentoring programs to the youth of the community who need an extra support system in their life. With a branch now in The Hill Country, with Rianne Sykes-Wenske as the director (cutting the ribbon), children facing adversity have access to a strong, enduring, and professional one-to-one mentor who can change their lives for the better.
