Central Catholic scored the game-winning run Friday night against the Boerne baseball team with a single run in the 10th inning.
Friday’s game was tied at 4-4 in the third inning and stayed that way until the 10th when the Buttons pushed in a run for the 5-4 win.
It’s only the second loss of the season for the Greyhounds that wrapped up non-district action at 18-2. Boerne begins 28-4A play Tuesday at home against Bandera.
