The nominations are in as the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce prepares for its annual gala, scheduled for Saturday, January 22, at the Cana Ballroom. The theme for the evening is “Come one, come all.”
During the gala, five main awards will be presented – two recognizing individuals, two recognizing businesses and one recognizing a nonprofit. Nominations were accepted through December 24, and the list was made public earlier this week. Nominees must be chamber members and not have won an award in the same category during the past three years.
The gala is scheduled from 6 to 10 p.m. Formal attire is requested with no costumes. The cocktail hour will lead to dinner and the program at about 6:45 p.m. with entertainment and dancing to begin at about 8 p.m.
