The Comfort High football team may have been steamrolled last Friday by state-power and undefeated in district Poth, 62-14, but that didn’t change anything for the Bobcats.
Comfort can still make the playoffs with a win Friday at South San West Campus. The Cats visit the winless Cougars Friday at 7:30 p.m. in San Antonio.
Comfort and Karnes City are both 2-3 in district, but the Bobcats won their match up earlier this year, so a Comfort has the tiebreaker over them. If the Bobcats win, it doesn’t matter what Karnes City does.
