Kendall Leininger, a Boerne Area Christian Homeschool (BACH) senior, competed in her final triathlon for the season on Oct. 16.
The weather was nasty with rain showers and strong winds but even with the weather Leininger still had a personal record and finished in first place overall for all females competing in the competition by almost a minute.
Her total time was 1:08 as the dark clouds and rain parted as she finished the race.
