The Boerne High girls basketball team recently held its annual awards ceremony where several team awards were handed out. 

Champion’s Karson Kaiser recently signed a letter of intent to play football with New Mexico State University. 

Champion’s Jacob Gresham recently signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Frontier Community College. 

Champion’s Ryan Lira signed a letter of intent to play football at Northwestern State University. 

SAN ANTONIO – After Calallen took the first game in its best-of-three, fourth-round series with the Boerne baseball team last week, the series shifted to San Antonio for Games 2 and 3 last Saturday.

Boerne High’s Ryleigh Jones signed a letter of intent to play volley at Schreiner University. 

Boerne Champion’s Aaron Basham recently signed a letter of intent to play baseball with Wayland Baptist University.

The Boerne ISD summer sports camps started this week with boys basketball and softball that started Tuesday and ended Friday.

BEEVILLE – Boerne had a fast start in its best-of-three series with Calallen in Game 1 at Beeville, tallying 3 runs in its first at bat, but the Wildcats scored in five of the next six innings and went on to defeat the Greyhounds, 12-6.

Boerne High student Layla Weaks will be travelling to Abilene to compete in the Texas High School Rodeo Association State Finals being held June 6-11.
