A great day for lemonade in Boerne
Bethany Aguilar sells lemonade from her elaborate stand on the shady side of Main Street on Sunday afternoon for the second year in a row as part of the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce’s annual Lemonade Day. Last year, 50 percent of her proceeds were donated to the Christian Assistant Ministry to help with an annual Christmas drive. This year, Aguilar was donating half her income to Soldiers’ Angels to help purchase paracord bracelets for active-duty military personnel. Dozens of youngsters set up stands along Main Street and elsewhere in and around Boerne to participate and learn some basic business skills. See Page 2 for another picture.
