BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT December 28

8:15 a.m., 100 block Aspen- A resident reported a UPS truck for driving around with a piece of cardboard on the back window of their van.

2:14 p.m., 124 Old San Antonio Rd.- A man as very upset, saying his ex-wife continued to harass him. He wanted officers to go to her home in San Antonio to speak with her.

2:51 p.m., 32950 I-10 W.- A man said his friend broke into his storage unit, taking some things that belonged to the friend and some things that belonged to him.

3:08 p.m., Main Street and Blanco Road- A woman said a group of 15- to 16-year-old boys were lunging at vehicles in the street.

9:09 p.m., 34935 I-10 E.- Two people got stuck in an elevator at Hampton Inn & Suites.

9:53 p.m., Herff Ranch and Cactus Pear- Five “elderly” people were in the middle of the street stopping traffic. A man said they seemed like they’d been drinking.

11:52 p.m., 10 Cascade Caverns- Two people were detained for doing donuts on the soccer fields.

Officers also conducted 10 security checks, made six traffic stops, assisted the public 15 times, removed a traffic hazard and worked seven false alarms, two non-injury accidents and two reckless drivers.

December 29

6:31 a.m., 135 Old San Antonio Rd.- A man woke up to find his truck’s window was broken, and someone had burglarized his vehicle.

7:06 a.m., 524 Adler Rd.- A man reported a 14-year-old boy as sleeping in the men’s restroom at Northside Community Park. He said it was the same boy that was smoking marijuana in the bathroom the day before.

11:29 a.m., 140 City Park- A man was hunting with his two 10- to -12-year-old sons with rifles at the city park. When a man walked by, he said they pointed their guns at him.

5:04 p.m., 1223 S. Main St.- A man was going to several vehicles in line at the Walgreen Pharmacy drive through line and yelling vulgar things at the drivers.

9:45 p.m., 125 Crosspoint- A woman had questions for officers about her ex-boyfriend who added himself to her lease that day.

Officers also conducted 18 security checks, made 21 traffic stops, assisted the public 19 times, removed two traffic hazards, served a warrant and worked seven false alarms, one non-injury accident, one animal call and three reckless drivers.

December 30

10:07 a.m., 101 Herff Rd.- A 60-year-old drunk man was in the lobby of The Bevy Hotel who refused to leave. The man was arrested for possession of marijuana.

5:53 p.m., 1440 River Rd.- A woman left the Cibolo Creek Rehab Health & Rehab Center and wouldn’t comply with staff who was trying to get her back inside. Eventually she called staff asking for a ride back, but she said she wouldn’t comply when they asked her not to bring her cigarettes with her.

8:49 p.m., 1500 S. Main St.- A man was arrested after he hit a median with his extended cab F150.

Officers also conducted seven security checks, made six traffic stops, assisted the public 17 times, removed a traffic hazard and worked two false alarms, two non-injury accidents, two animal calls and one reckless driver.

December 31

12:35 a.m., 545 MM I-10 W.- A man and woman were detained by officers after the 18-wheeler pulling a Dollar General trailer they were driving was reported stolen.

4:43 a.m., 100 block Old San Antonio Rd.- An individual was arrested after wrecking a vehicle on the interstate.

4:12 p.m., 121 Old San Antonio Rd.- A 12-year-old girl at the Roy Maas Youth Alternative Center threw rocks and sticks at a staff member’s vehicle before spitting at the staff member.

Officers also conducted 18 security checks, made 18 traffic stops, assisted the public 16 times, removed a traffic hazard and worked seven false alarms, two non-injury accidents, three animal calls and two reckless drivers.

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

December 28

9:44 a.m., 524 MM I-10 E.- A vehicle rolled over on the interstate, stopping in the median. All occupants were safely out of the vehicle, and no major injuries were reported.

11:02 a.m., 100 block FM 3351 S.- A truck pulling an RV rolled over, and smoke was reported coming from the accident. Fire and emergency services were called, but no major injuries were reported.

1:33 p.m., 400 block Hwy 46 W.- A woman crashed her vehicle into a ditch near Double Diamond, causing a head injury. The woman said she had a bleeding disorder.

2:19 p.m., 100 block Cantina Sky- A woman claimed movers stole some of her property when moving her belongings.

4:32 p.m., 100 block Saddle Wood Trail- A man rented a cabin with his friend, who he said began acting disturbingly. His friend began threatening to light his car on fire before starting a campfire next to his car and making it as large as possible. His friend went back into the cabin, but he wanted officers to check on him.

Deputies also made 15 traffic stops, assisted the public 15 times, removed a traffic hazard and worked three false alarms, one non-injury accident, one animal call and two reckless drivers.

December 29

8:39 a.m., 100 block Walnut Grove Rd.- A man was pulled over in a work vehicle and found to be driving without a license. He admitted to a deputy that he initially ran from them to avoid being stopped, and he said his boss knew he was driving without a license.

2:17 p.m., 100 block Scheele Rd.- A man said his wife received phone calls claiming she had warrants out for her arrest, and he suspected it was an attempt to scam her.

3:58 p.m., 400 block FM 474- A woman reported a 16-year-old girl was receiving inappropriate text messages from a cardiologist.

4:05 p.m., 43 Hwy 87 N.- A bag with narcotics in it was found at the Love’s Travel Stop.

4:30 p.m., 5 Topperwein Rd.- A man called deputies for advice after the county bought the property he was living on.

7:14 p.m., Waring Welfare Road and Joshua Creek roads- A man crashed his motorcycle, and a passerby reported his shoulder seemed to be dislocated. The driver was behaving strangely, saying his girlfriend was nearby and he was going to walk home because he didn’t have the key to turn off the motorcycle, so the passerby left because they had children with them.

Deputies also conducted a security check, made 23 traffic stops, assisted the public 17 times, removed three traffic hazards, served three warrants and worked four false alarms, four non-injury accidents, one animal call and two reckless drivers.

December 30

5:49 a.m., Northern Bear- A man woke up to smoke in the house. Everyone was evacuated from the home, but the house was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. The fire was under control by 1:15 p.m., but firefighters remained on the scene to watch in case the fire reignited.

3:24 p.m., 100 block Ulmus Rd.- A woman reported seeing a 5-yearold boy outside since 10 a.m., saying she has seen him left alone outside at night as well. Deputies found that the child was playing outside under adult supervision.

Deputies also made 16 traffic stops, assisted the public 17 times, removed two traffic hazards, served a warrant and worked four false alarms, one animal call and four reckless drivers.

December 31

4:43 a.m., 100 block Old San Antonio Rd.- An individual was arrested after wrecking a vehicle at the 543 MM on Interstate 10.

6:23 p.m., Miraposa and Canario- A woman reported her neighbors were setting off fireworks that were hitting her house and windows.

8:19 p.m., 600 block Esperanza- A man saw flames in the area, but deputies identified it as a controlled burn.

10:49 p.m., 700 block High St.- A man reported music in the area was so loud it was shaking his home.

11:21 p.m., 100 block Chapel Hill- A resident was upset when their neighbor told them they’d shoot them if they threw rocks at his house. He was holding an AK-47.

Deputies also made 14 traffic stops, assisted the public 11 times, removed two traffic hazards and worked six false alarms, one non-injury accident, one animal call and three reckless drivers.
