Geneva School of Boerne cleaned up at its recent district tennis tournament after both the girls and boys teams claimed league titles.
Up next for the Eagles is the state tournament set for April 13-14 in Waco.
In individual competition, Mary Simpson and Siena Svendsen won their third girls doubles championship to qualify for state, while Grant Dillinger and Walker West were crowned boys doubles champions to also qualify for state. It’s Dillinger’s second year to earn the district title in this event.
Rebekah Burkhart and Audrey Kate Garcia finished as girls runner up to qualify for state, while Teagan Fikes and Alex Malouf were boys runner up to qualify for state.
Audrey Lapacka placed fourth in girls singles and is headed to state, while Ray Reynolds finished fourth in boys singles and is advancing to state.
