The tennis teams from Boerne ISD played in their last tournaments before going into district play this week.
The district tourney was held at Alamo Heights on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Check the Star for results.
Boerne Champion
Champion made their annual trip to the Houston area to participate in the Kemah Boardwalk Invitational.
Alexandra Morris finished third in girls singles, while Ava Lewis and Sofia Rubio won the consolation girls division.
Boerne High
Boerne High was entered in the Johnson Jaguar Spring Invitational held at the NEISD Blossom courts and had several players earn medals.
Aidan Cebe won gold in boys singles, Nick Dube and Gavin Cebe took first in boys doubles and beat teammates Caleb Norman and Rylan Bratz for the title.
On the girls side, Lauren Weisel and Zoe Gonzales placed second in girls doubles, while Justin Barraza and Paytin Johndrow finished second in mixed doubles.
The regionals tennis tourney is set for April 17-18 in Corpus Christi.
