CELEBRATING THE ARTS
MixHaus Gallery announces its “Summer Mix” exhibition “in all its color and texture,” now through Aug. 23.
It features new work by existing artists, new-to-MixHaus artists, and work brought back from Affordable Art Fair Austin. They hope that you will join them in Comfort this summer to sip a cool drink, explore the town and take in all the art.
Stay tuned for an announcement of the “Summer Mixer,” a laidback but lively celebration of Summer Mix art, community, music, poetry and more.
Summer Mix is MixHaus’ answer to the laidback, relaxed pace of the summer months in Comfort, Texas. It is when they feature new work by existing artists, share the artwork brought back from the Affordable Art Fair Austin, as well as introduce newest-to-Mix-Haus artists.
The exhibit is not the same from opening to closing — artwork rotates as it sells, or new work arrives, so it stays fresh throughout the summer.
MixHaus is committed to featuring the mixed media and mixed and mixed discipline work of primarily Texas-based and local artists, and Summer Mix — a gathering of MixHaus artists, friends, collectors and music. that will celebrate our exhibit program, and the Comfort art community that is being created.
