LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff ’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. JUNE 30

6:59 a.m., on Herff Ranch/Rattlesnake Bluff – A caller reported a vehicle parked in the same location for a couple days. The caller said she saw the male sleeping in his vehicle.

10:39 a.m., 100 block of Medical Drive – A caller reported she and her husband were having some issues. The caller told dispatch that threats were made during a fight.

11:43 a.m., mile marker 539, W. I-10 – A caller reported a male on the side of the road who appeared to be looking around on his hands and knees.

3:07 p.m., 300 block of Rosewood Avenue – A caller reported receiving a scam email, informing her she had a past due invoice of $75,000.

JULY 1

9:18 a.m., 200 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported some electrical conduit was stolen from the location.

10:32 a.m., 300 block of Menger Springs – A caller reported theft of services.

12:34 p.m., 37000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported a single vehicle accident. The caller said the vehicle hit a pole hard, and airbags were deployed.

2:23 p.m., 1000 block of Diamond Drive – A caller reported someone was tampering with his front door lock.

7:23 p.m., 700 block of Oak Park – A caller reported a live bat on the third floor of the apartment building.

JULY 2

9:56 a.m., Highway 46/Dresden Wood Drive – A caller reported a hitand- run collision. The caller refused directions to pull over and continued driving, saying he needed to “do a citizen’s arrest.”

7:48 p.m., 200 block of W. Bandera Road – An employee reported two people were throwing food at her vehicle.

JULY 3

5:17 a.m., on Herff Ranch/Rocky Path – A caller reported a truck with a defective taillight had been sitting there for more than 90 minutes.

12:05 p.m., 1200 block of N. Main Street – A caller reported someone was on a run and reported seeing a yellow hammock zipped up. The caller was concerned there was someone inside.

2:02 p.m., on Cascade Caverns Road – A hotel manager reported a customer was using a stolen credit card. Law enforcement came to the location and the male was taken into custody.

2:25 p.m., 100 block of Boulder Creek – A caller reported receiving a call with a screaming child on the other end.

4:11 p.m., 900 block of E. Blanco Road – A caller reported a package with $250 worth of merchandise was stolen overnight.

JULY 4

11:43 a.m., 200 block of Paint Creek – A caller reported smelling a possible gas leak at the location. Boerne F.D. came to the location.

1:18 p.m., Old San Antonio Road – A caller was concerned about a raccoon he saw climbing around a campsite.

5:32 p.m., 100 block Old San Antonio – A caller reported an older female taking photos of the caller in the pool area.

5:55 p.m., 3700 block of E. I-10 – Two callers reported a driver who was drinking and driving.

6:36 p.m., 1600 block of River Road – A caller reported a male that was drunk and smoking in front of children.

JUNE 30

7:21 a.m., 200 block of Mountain Creek Trail – A caller reported two loose dogs in the area. The caller said one of the dogs was unfriendly and causes issues with her dogs.

8:22 a.m., 29000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported an individual stopped paying for his rental unit two months ago and was refusing to remove his items.

2:06 p.m., 500 block of FM 289 – A caller reported a one-vehicle accident. The vehicle left the road and hit a tree, deploying the air bag.

3:34 p.m., 500 block of Kendall Parkway – A caller received a call from someone impersonating a Kendall County deputy.

4:04 p.m., 100 block of Buckskin Drive – A manager reported one of her resident’s credit cards was compromised.

JULY 1

Noon, 200 block of River Forest Drive – A caller reported his cat was stolen. The caller said he had an AirTag on his collar. He went to the location of the AirTag and the owner refused to open the door.

12:20 a.m., mile marker 500, W. I-10 – A caller reported a possible driver who was possibly intoxicated on the interstate. The caller said the driver was fluctuating speed and unable to maintain his lane. The caller reported additional reckless driving behavior.

8:03 a.m., 100 block of Winding Windmill – A caller reported a snake in her backyard.

11:17 a.m., 100 block of Whitworth Drive – Fifteen to 20 sheep were causing a traffic issue on the road. 8:16 p.m., 100 block of Country Corner – A caller reported someone’s pet pig showed up on her front yard.

JULY 2

7:57 a.m., mile marker 527, W. I-10 – A caller reported a school bus going down the road emitting heavy smoke. The caller did not see flames but said there was smoke.

1:18 p.m., 500 block of Sunflower – A caller reported someone stole her vehicle. After further investigation, it was found there were other contributing factors. The caller was given advice on handling the situation.

2:29 p.m., Staudt Street – A caller reported receiving a call from someone claiming to be with the sheriff’s office, saying she had a warrant for her arrest and needed to buy Bitcoin to avoid being arrested.

5:02 p.m., along Possum Creek/Big Joshua Road – A caller reported three mailboxes were knocked to the ground by a vehicle.

JULY 3

8:55 a.m., 100 block of Sandy Oaks Drive – A caller reported he had a trapped cat that needed to be picked up.

5:01 p.m., 100 block of Esperanza Road – A caller reported someone kept illegally dumping in his dumpsters.

5:03 p.m., 10000 block of Johns Road – Law enforcement reported three males were on the run, evading law enforcement. Air support was used in an attempt to locate the males. The males were later located and taken into custody at gunpoint.

5:38 p.m., on N. Highway 87 – A caller reported one of his employees was stealing drinks and assaulted another employee. The caller said ta day earlier, the employee was told her she could not return, but she was now back.

JULY 4

2:59 p.m., 100 block of Cibolo Ridge Trail – A caller reported a neighbor crashed through his fence. There was no crime, but the caller wanted it documented for insurance issues.

6:06 p.m., 1800 block of FM 1376 – A herd of goats were on the side of the road, looking for a place to side for the fireworks show.

8:08 p.m., on N. Highway 87 – A caller reported ongoing vandalization of the gas station. The caller said the fireworks stand kept leaving trash and popping fireworks by the gas station.

8:45 p.m., 1200 block of FM 473 – A caller reported an intoxicated male a firearm and was getting violent.
