• SISTERDALE VFD ANNUAL BBQ: Join the Sisterdale Volunteer Fire Department for the 51st annual BBQ & Dance. Dinner begins at 5 p.m. at the VFD, 1207 Sisterdale Road. The evening will feature great barbecue, live music, dancing and raffles while supporting the VFD.
• CARS, COFFEE & CIGARS: Automotive enthusiasts are invited to ease into the weekend from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Oak, 605 S. Main St., where this relaxed monthly gathering brings together an eclectic mix of vehicles, pastries, and coffee.
• BLUEGRASS JAM: Bring your instrument and play along or just come to listen between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to the bluegrass jams while exploring the exhibits and grounds of The AgriCultural, 102 City Park Road. Free to the public; donations are welcome.

• ADULT NIGHT HIKE: Adult Night Hikes are longer hikes, using unfamiliar trails at Cibolo Nature Center, 140 City Park Road. From 8 to 9:30 p.m., hikers can expect to spend time without flashlights in hopes of viewing nocturnal wildlife. The cost is $15 per adult.
