A story in the upcoming Aug. 16, Sunday edition of The Boerne Star takes a deep dive into the aftermath of the Blake David Wampler case — and the questions that remain for the families involved.
Wampler pleaded guilty in May to a charge of manslaughter in the aftermath of a traffic accident that claimed the life of teacher Kim Brasher, 55, on FM 473 in June 2024. He received 10 years probation in late July.
The Star is bringing together the voices of those closest to the case, including family members and the Kendall County District Attorney’s Office, to examine a central question: Do they believe justice was served?
