Man facing sex assault charges bound over after jumping bail

A 31-year-old San Antonio resident, Xavier “Saber” Murillo Ardon, found himself back behind bars for the third time on the same felony charges after failing to appear in court.

Ardon, facing two counts of bail jumping and two counts of aggravated sexual assault against a child, was booked Aug. 18 after failing to appear in court for the second time.

“On this the 16 day of August, 2023, came to be heard the above motion of the state requesting a revocation and increase in bond and it appeared that such increase should be granted,” a motion filed last week in the 451st state District Court read.
