JOURDANTON – Usually it’s the head coach that gets doused in Gatorade or water after a big win, but that privilege was reserved for one of the Boerne High baseball players last Friday night.

Champion’s Peyton Brehmer signed a letter of intent to swim at George Mason University.

Champion’s Gabe Hawkins signed a letter of intent to swim at Providence College. 

The Boerne High girls soccer team capped a great season and had 13 players receive all-district recognition, including three players that earned superlative awards.

The Boerne High baseball team has advanced to the third round of the 4A playoffs and will tangle with Rockport-Fulton this weekend.

Jason Sanders was hired as the new Champion head girls basketball coach at Monday’s Boerne ISD school board meeting.

Geneva School of Boerne sent several athletes to compete at the recent TAPPS 5A State Track and Field Meet and Geneva athletes earned five state medals, two of them gold.

After graduating all but three starters from last fall’s football team, Champion coach Keith Kaiser has a lot of questions going into next year, but the coach said he may have found some answers during Wednesday’s Navy-White spring game.

The Geneva School of Boerne girls golf team placed fifth at the recent TAPPS 5A State Tournament in Glen Rose. The girls shot under 400 on both days with a total of 787. 

The Boerne High seniors defeated the juniors in the recent powderpuff game held at Boerne ISD Stadium, 6-0. 

Tapatio Springs held its annual Member Member Tournament. The team members played 0 holes Scramble and 9 holes Shamble. Results:
